I have NOT found many bar codes this app couldnt read.

I just scanned some of my compact discs, 10 precisely. 9 of 10-4 provided many hits.

If I can get data in some consistent order I will be pleased. More so than I am with a dedicated, reader, "wand"/database program (Windows OS) I bought for $100.00!
